Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire.
Jessica’s obstacle course racing journey started in 2015 when a friend challenged her to her first Spartan race in her hometown of Calgary, Alberta. A podium finish left her hooked. She has always been an Elite athlete, competing in gymnastics from a young age, but was now looking for a sport that would continue to challenge her both mentally and physically. Her success in the sport has continued with numerous podium finishes, including placing within the top 20 Elite Woman at the last two Spartan World Championships in Lake Tahoe. When Jessica isn’t training for Spartan, she is also a mom of two children, wife and Emergency Room Nurse. Jessica has proven that moms can train hard, race hard, be successful and still manage a full life outside of the racing world. Her grit, determination and commitment to training make her a fierce competitor and will surely have another successful season as she makes her way to the 2018 Spartan World Championships.
