Bio

Hey! I’m Stefan Wieclawek originally from Red Deer Alberta but currently living in Calgary. I’d like to think I’m a pretty laid back guy but very driven and dedicated to the aspects of my life I deem to be most important (family, friends, career, training). If I’m found in a room of my closest friends, I’m usually the one talking and usually with my hands. My official start in my sport would have to be the 2015 Montana Spartan Race Sprint, my brother convinced me to road trip down together and I was immediately hooked. Shortly thereafter I became addicted to running and training in the mountains and started to dabble in longer distance endurance events. Two of my biggest successes to date would be finishing 2nd at the 2016 Sun Peaks Spartan Ultra Beast and finishing tied for 24nd with my brother at the 2016 Canadian Death Race. When I’m not running around in the mountains or racing I enjoy spending the off-season in the Crossfit gym chucking barbells around with the 6am crew at Cityscape Crossfit. Also a big fan of spending time cooking and baking, which is most likely driven by my love of good, healthy food.
